Epona

£750.00

The Epona table lamp, named after the Celtic goddess of fertility and nature, draws inspiration from the soft, rounded shape of a mushroom. Its hand-bent, shaped, and welded steel frame supports the design, allowing light to gently filter through both the shade and base. The paper’s unique texture is crafted using the traditional Japanese technique of Momigami, or "kneaded paper," a method once used by Japanese farmers to make durable fabric from limited resources. This process gives the paper exceptional strength and resilience.

Momigami Paper

Natural Dyes (this one is ivory)

Dimensions: 63cm tall 48cm wide

Each lamp is handmade, with no two being exactly alike—subtle variations in symmetry and form are part of its unique character. This piece is made to order, so please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
